John C. & Matt M. with CHUD installed my new Bradford-White 40 gallon water heater and expansion tank this morning (4/4/2023). The job was performed in a professional manner with particular attention given to the neatness of the fair amount of copper piping needed to complete the project. They removed the old equipment and cleaned the work area nicely. Extremely happy with the results! I highly recommend CHUD for all of your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Performed preventative maintenance for a high efficiency Lennox AC system. Model #HS260422 P, serial #589-832-9763. Upon arrival the system was calling for heat so I powered the thermostat down and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. I test The drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The homeowner bought the wrong size Merv11 air filters. The system uses a 16x25x5 filter. I was able to install a 16x25x1 filter until the homeowner can purchase the correct size. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are .49 for the fan and 7.4 for the compressor. The temperature split is at a 20° differential. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge for maintenance. FWI

Cleaned out condensate pump and water tested drain pan. Performed amperage test on condenser fan motor and compressor both are operating properly at this time. Capacitor and contactor are operating properly. System is tested and ready for the season
Manufacturer Coleman Model # TH4B4821S Serial # W1B7405023 Customer had no heat pump was not operating at all. Their was a short in the electrical distribution system. I repaired the unit. Tested air conditioning and the hat both are operating properly at this point.

Came out today to perform humidifier service on a Aprilaire 600 series humidifier. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the humidifier is currently leaking. I found a fault in the waist water removal system. I provided the homeowner with several repair options. The homeowner chose the band aid repair. Chud will have to order the parts and reach out to the homeowner with a repair date. Humidifier service could not be performed today since the humidifier is not operational. Maintenance will be performed after the repair.

Came out to provide an estimate for dryer vent rerouting. Dryer vent currently vents into the basement into a water catch basket. Customer would like hard piped dryer vent going to the outside upon inspection the best way to run this dryer vent from inside to out is through the basement. we will go out an older plywood sealed up window. This old window is underneath the back deck and is easily accessible. I crawled under to inspect the exiting location. This run is approximately 20 feet total from dryer to output. Will need to add a 4 foot length of flex as well due to the dryer being in a corner. This will need to be attached so dryer can be moved in and out of its space. Install standard vent hood with built in pest barricade. 2 techs will be needed. Attached is the pricing for this install (parts and labor). No charge for today’s survey.

Preventative maintenance inspection/tune up on a Trane high efficiency gas furnace. Combustion analysis CO 9 PPM, O2 9.7%. Replaced a 16x25x1 filter with a company supplied filter. Verified amperage and voltage readings. Burners are slightly rusted, flame sensor was rusted and worn. Replaced flame sensor on site to avoid nuisance no heat issues based on age/condition of part. Verified proper drainage for exhaust condensation. Overall, system in fair condition for a 12 year old system. Average life expectancy is about 15 years.
